At 5.5 years old, Ace is a lovable, calm Singapore Special who’s looking for his forever home (not HDB approved)! Though he was surrendered by his previous owner due to food guarding, Ace has shown great progress while staying at our shelter. Ace is a quick learner and responds well to basic commands like “sit” and “down.” He loves attention and enjoys spending time with his humans, often following them around as they go about their day. Wary of strangers, you would need multiple interactions before realizing his true personality. Although he may act like a playful child at times, he’s really a big furbaby at heart, eager to share his love and affection with his family. Ace would do best in an single pet, all adult household. We highly recommend working with a trainer who uses non-aversive methods to continue building his confidence and help manage his food guarding. With patience and love, Ace will make a loyal companion and is ready to offer his heart to the right family. Could you be the one to give him the loving, secure home he deserves?
